What are all the wild cats

“They’re the cats that live in the wild,” I said. “The ones who are not domesticated.”

“What about the domesticated cats?”

“The ones who are kept as pets,” I said.

“Why don’t we have any of those?” he asked.

“Because many of them have gone extinct,” I said. “And since they have gone extinct, they are not considered to be wild.”

“What about the ones who are domesticated but don’t live in the wild?” he asked.

“Those are called feral cats,” I said.

“How come they are called feral cats?”

“Because they are not domesticated, they are wild,” I said.

“What about the house cats?” he asked.

“Those are domesticated cats that live in houses,” I said.

“Where are the house cats?” he asked.

“They are everywhere,” I said.

“Why aren’t we having any?” he asked.

“Because cats are not allowed in all houses,” I said.

“Why not?” he asked.

“Because some cats are dangerous,” I said.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“Those are the ones that attack people,” I said.

“Don’t you have any of those?” he asked.

“Of course, we have all kinds of cats,” I said.

“Why don’t we have any of the wild ones?” he asked.

“Because they are dangerous,” I said.

“How can they be dangerous?” he asked.

“Because they are wild and they have not been domesticated,” I said.

“Aren’t you domesticated?” he asked.

“Yes, I am,” I said.

“So what’s the difference between you and a cat?” he asked.

“Why do you want to know?” I asked.

“Because I’m not domesticated,” he said.

“And so?” I asked.

“So I want to know if I can be domesticated,” he said.

“Let’s find out,” I said.
