Question by Marissa: What is the average age of a cat?

This year my cat name is Daisy, she is 11 years and 2 months old, what is the average age of a cat?

Hi Marissa,

I think that is a really good question.

I have a cat called Luna, who is nearly 20 years old, and I think she is still going strong.

However, I have known cats that have lived to be as old as 25, so it all depends on the cat.

I hope that helps.
