How do I get my cat spayed or neutered?

If you are a resident of the City of Baltimore and your cat is 5 months old or older, you can make an appointment for your cat to be spayed or neutered at our Veterinary Hospital on the third floor of the Camden Yards Building at 4402 North Charles Street. If you are a resident of Baltimore County, you can make an appointment for your cat to be spayed or neutered at our Cat Shelter at 1001 Green Hill Road. If you are a resident of the City of Baltimore and your cat is less than 5 months old, you need to call 410-396-PETS. You will need to bring your cat to our Medical Department (located on the third floor of the Camden Yards Building at 4402 North Charles Street) to be spayed or neutered. If you are a resident of Baltimore County, you need to call 410-837-PETS to schedule an appointment. All cats older than six months require a rabies vaccination. Please call 410-396-PETS to make an appointment.

I have found a stray cat. What should I do?

All stray cats found in the shelter must be held for at least 24 hours to ensure that no other animals have been exposed. If no other animals have been exposed, they will be transferred to the Baltimore County Animal Shelter on Green Hill Road in Catonsville, Md.
