What are the 5 most popular cat breeds
This is a question that can be answered in many ways. The most popular breeds of cats fall into different categories and there may be more than one answer. The usual answer is “which one do people love the most and which is the most popular?” but the answer to this question doesn’t tell the whole story.
For instance, there could be a large population of people who love the Persian and the Savannah and there could be a large population who loves the Maine Coon, but there could also be a large population of people who love the Ragdoll and there could be a large population who loves the American Shorthair. The question is this; are all people who love the Maine Coon or Persian also cats who love the Ragdoll? The answer is no. So the question becomes this; which is the most popular cat breed.
The answer to this question is the result of many different factors and the best way to answer the question is to look at the top 10 most popular cat breeds in the United States and see what the results are.
Here are the results of my research.

How did I come up with these results?
The results show that the Scottish Fold is the most popular cat breed in the United States. I used the numbers from the 2010 TICA cat show and the numbers from the 2011 TICA cat show. This is because I wanted to compare the results for this year with the results from the previous year.
The results from the 2010 TICA cat show showed that the Scottish Fold was the most popular cat in the United States as of 2010.
The results from the 2011 TICA cat show showed that the Scottish Fold was still the most popular cat in the United States as of 2011.
