What foods can cats eat other than cat food

Although cats are carnivores, they are omnivores. They can eat greenery and most meats, including raw meats, but they need to be served with a good quality cat food to ensure they get all the nutritional benefits they need.

It is important to note that there are foods cats should not eat.

Cats are not safe to eat, and should not be fed the following foods:

Raw fish

Raw eggs or poultry

Raw meat

Raw dairy products

Raw fruit and vegetables

Raw or undercooked meat and poultry

Raw vegetables

Sometimes raw, or uncooked chicken or beef bones can be found in cat food. Keep in mind that although these bones are considered safe for cats, they are not easy for them to digest.

If you are feeding your cat raw chicken or beef bones, you will want to remove them from the food before serving.

Cat food is made to provide cats with the nutrients they require. They must be fed a good quality, dry cat food that is made up of meat and fat, protein, carbohydrates and vitamins and minerals.

How do I know if my cat is getting enough nutrition?

When purchasing cat food, look for the nutritional content. This will allow you to be sure your cat is getting all the nutrients they need.

Some cat parents like to test their cat’s food to see if it is pure and free of toxins.

To test your cat’s food, you will have to create a diet for them. You can either use the ingredients that are already in their food or you can buy new ingredients and feed it to your cat.

Set a schedule for repeating the test. It would be a good idea to do this test at least once a month.

Another way to test your cat’s food is to make a small batch of the food. Make the food into a patties, mix it up and serve it to your cat.

Handling an unwell cat

A sick cat is a concerned cat. When your cat is ill, you will want to take their needs into consideration.

If your cat is unwell, you will want to get them to a vet as soon as possible.

If you can get to the vet before they refuse to eat, they can administer medication to them.

If your cat is unwell and they are refusing to eat, you can give them a small amount of water. If you are worried that you might lose your cat, you can also administer 2 percent hydrogen peroxide to your cat.

Onions, leeks, and chives are part of a family of plants called Allium that is poisonous to most pets, especially cats.
