What to do when your cat is coughing

1. Don’t force your cat to drink water. Cats don’t like to drink. The best thing to do is to offer them a small amount of water and let them drink on their own.

2. Make sure that your cat gets enough rest. When your cat coughs, it can lead to a case of pneumonia.

3. Keep your cat hydrated.

4. Try giving your cat small amounts of any liquid at a time.

5. Consult your veterinarian about your cat’s cough.

6. Clean the litter box and add a little water to the litter box.

7. Give your cat a bath. Hot water will help to loosen the mucous.

8. Give your cat a warm bath.
